QuantumReelFrontier is a Hoxton-based studio shipping atmospheric indie titles, competitive multiplayer, and bespoke game tech for clients across the UK and beyond.
Who We Are
"We don't make games to fill a quarter. We make worlds people return to for years."
Founded above a coffee roaster on Hoxton Street, QuantumReelFrontier began as three developers prototyping a neon racing game in their evenings. Seven years on, our team of eleven artists, engineers, and designers ships titles that have charted on Steam and powered live esports events across Europe.
Every project starts the same way: a playable prototype within two weeks, weekly playtests with real players, and a relentless focus on how a game feels in the first sixty seconds. We work in Unreal Engine 5 and a custom in-house toolchain, and we keep our scopes honest so we can ship.

Voices
They turned our rough pitch into a vertical slice in two weeks that closed our seed round. No agency we briefed came close.
The ranked and anti-cheat backend they built held up flawlessly through our 8,000-player open beta weekend.
Static Bloom hit number two in UK puzzle games within a month. Their art team understood our brand instantly.
Honest scoping and weekly builds meant zero surprises. We shipped on the date they promised eleven months earlier.
I have bought every game this studio has made. Reel Frontier is the only racer I have put 200 hours into.
Questions
Absolutely. Roughly half our client work is with founders shipping their first title or brands exploring games for the first time. We start with a paid discovery sprint so you can validate the idea cheaply before committing to a full production budget.
Our core stack is Unreal Engine 5, supported by a custom in-house toolchain for rapid prototyping. We ship to Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, iOS, and Android, and we handle the platform certification process for you.
You do. On client and contract work, all source code, art, and design documentation transfer to you on final payment. We only retain rights to reusable internal tools that are not specific to your project.
Original productions typically start at £48,000 and run six to fourteen months depending on scope. We always begin with a fixed-price two-week prototype so both sides understand the real cost before a larger commitment.
Yes. We welcome partners to our workshop at 58 Hoxton Street, just north of Old Street station. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and playtest sessions are often held on Thursday evenings.
